About Voton

Your workspace

Pages, folders, editor content, and locally uploaded images are stored in your browser's IndexedDB database. Voton does not require an account or sync this content to a Voton server. We cannot view or recover your workspace from our servers.

Export creates a file on your device. Import reads a file you choose into your browser. Clearing Voton's data or your browser's site data can permanently remove the workspace in that browser. Keep your own backups if the content matters to you.

Website and contact data

The site is hosted by Vercel. When you visit it, Vercel receives technical request data, such as your IP address, browser information, the requested page, and the time of the request, to deliver and protect the site. Voton does not add an analytics or advertising service. Technical data may be retained according to Vercel's settings and policies. See the Vercel Privacy Notice.

If you contact us, we use the information you send to reply and resolve your request. We keep the correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or to document the resolution. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure and answering questions about Voton to handle technical request data and correspondence.

Cookies and browser storage

Voton uses IndexedDB for workspace content and local storage for preferences, including the theme, sidebar state, and the last opened page ID used to reopen it. The emoji picker also stores recently used emoji locally. This information stays in your browser and can be removed by clearing this site's data in browser settings. These features do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Other services

Opening the emoji picker can load emoji images from jsDelivr. That request may expose technical connection data, including your IP address, to the CDN. See the jsDelivr privacy policy. Links or externally hosted content you add to your notes may also contact their providers when opened or displayed.

Your rights and questions

You can export or delete your locally stored workspace in Voton's settings. For personal data we handle outside your browser, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable. You may also complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO). Contact us using the details below.
